WHISPER - 身在其境，聲如其境

【作品簡述】

Whisper是一款能切割聲音空間的指向性聲音燈具，旨在協助使用者降低居家生活的煩悶感。使用者僅能在特定的方向聽見聲音，無需使用耳機，即能進入私人的聲光空間，感受沉浸式的聲光體驗。此外，使用者能使用Whisper application挑選對應的聲音場景，Whisper則會根據情境調整燈光、音訊以營造該聲音場景的氛圍，達到「身在其境，聲如其境」 。

Whisper uses a directional sound effect and lights to keep individuals refreshed when they are at home for an extended amount of time. Whisper features two sound modes that are adjusted by the movable speaker mechanism: showering and focusing. Showering mode gives an immersive sound impression for multiple users, while focusing mode is for single person separated sound. Depending on the quantity of users, users can rotate Whisper and enjoy the music.

【作者介紹】

呂昊軒目前就讀台灣科技大學設計系，曾輔系資訊管理系、互動設計學程，近期作品於2022年獲得Logitech 羅技-設計新常態之金獎。此外，昊軒於2020至2022年間擔任林銘煌教授之研究助理，參與計畫之論文成果入選DRS2022研討會。未來將會透過教育部菁英培訓計畫於荷蘭TU/e進修工業設計。

Hao-xuan is currently studying in the Department of Design in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and minored in the Department of Information Management and Interaction Design Program. He is keen to use his own understanding of programs and technology to propose innovative design proposals. His recent work gained a Golden Award in the Logitech Design' contest - Design New Normal.

Furthermore, Haoxuan is  a research assistant in Ming-Huang Lin's Laboratory from 2020 to 2022. The academic papers involved in the project were selected for the DRS2022 seminar held in Spain. In the future, he is going to study Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) through the recommendation SPOSAD (Scholarship Program for Overseas Study in Arts and Design).

林殷琪，致力於工業設計，目前就讀於臺灣科技大學設計系，2020年輔具設計作品「L Crutch」收錄於iF設計獎之世界設計指南中。同年擔任施皇旭老師帶領的教育部計畫之3D建模助教。未來將於英國皇家藝術學院（Royal College of Art）修習產品設計。

Yin-Chi Lin, who is dedicated to industrial design, is currently studying at the Department of Design, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.

The 2020 design project "L Crutch" was embodied in the World Design Guide of the iF Design Award. In the same year, Yinchi served as a 3D modeling lecturer for the Ministry of Education project which was led by Prof. Huang-Xu Shi. In the future, she will study Product Design at Royal College of Art (RCA).
