Avant-grade Design
This course mainly introduces the concepts and technologies of virtual reality (VR)-assisted industrial design. It uses VR to 3D sketch, model, render and review designs. It explores how VR can assist industrial design and make faster and more realistic design proposals. The course is structured through lectures, discussions, and the production of virtual and physical models.
前衛設計思維與實務
本課程主要導入虛擬實境(VR)輔助工業設計的概念與技術,利用VR來3D草繪丶建模丶渲染和檢討設計,探討VR如何輔助工業設計,進行更快速丶逼真的設計提案。課程按進度進行講課、討論、和製作虛擬模型和實體模型。
Parametric Design
Grasshopper, as a visual programming modeling software, is a new modeling tool for industrial design. It is completely different from the traditional modeling method. For a specific selected shape, it can quickly adjust the proportions and repeatedly correct the details. This course uses case studies and practical exercises to allow students to gain further experience and understanding of the possibility of fine-tuning product styling in the later stages of design. We hope to construct, derive and expand the composition of shapes and change their rules by gradually explaining and writing generative parametric design programs.
參數式設計
Grasshopper作為視覺化程式的建模軟體,對工業設計而言是一種新的建模工具,和傳統的建模方式截然不同,針對選定的特定造形,它可以快速調整比例、反覆修正細節。本課程透過程式案例介紹、實務操演,讓學生對設計後期精細調整產品造型的可能性有進一步的體驗與認知。希望透過逐步講解和撰寫衍生式參數設計程式來建構、衍生和擴展造形的構成與變化其規則。

設計個別研究
論文個別指導與討論,以利碩士與博士論文進行。包括:研究主題、研究方法、時間表、修改方向、第一次論文提案與期刊投稿等。
