Weave 旨在探索鋁金屬加工的新可能，利用鋁良好的延展性詮釋以往用於軟材的編織技法，打破金屬剛硬冰冷的形象，以剛顯柔。更利用鋁富光澤的特性，使其透過編織，交織出若隱若現的格紋圖樣，低調優雅。

Weave 由一面鋁板彎折而成，全椅身一體成形，並透過編織的方式，使鋁金屬不需借助螺絲或膠類，即可緊密固定。無任何其他材質及零件介入的優點，更方便廢棄後進入鋁金屬的回收循環。

Weave 提供的是對於鋁椅加工的新想像，其簡練優雅的設計更是象徵著新時代對於實踐幻想的堅定及追求。

Weave

The main idea of Weave is to explore the new possibility of aluminum metal. It takes advantage of the great malleability of aluminum to perform the weaving techniques used in soft material, showing softness with stiffness. Furthermore, the high reflectivity of aluminum allows the plaid pattern that is made by weaving to be looming. 

Weave is a one-piece chair made by bending an aluminum panel. By weaving, it allows aluminum metal to be firmly fixed without using screws or glue. The advantage of no other materials or elements involved makes it more convenient to enter the recycling of aluminum metal after being abandoned.

Challenging the existing technology of aluminum processing, Weave creates new opportunities and potentials for aluminum chairs. Its concise and elegant design also symbolizes the perseverance in pursuing dreams in the new era.

課程目標：本課程以幾何形體的生活產品與有機形體的交通工具為設計主題，加強學生對於產品的造型能力。此作品為學期的第一個設計案，主題為家具設計。
